Chat Icons
The following icons can be found in Diablo, StarCraft, StarCraft: Brood War, and Warcraft II Battle.net Edition.

| Blizzard Employee – An authorized representative of Blizzard Entertainment | |
| Battle.net System Administrator – An authorized representative of Battle.net | |
| Channel Operator – Can remove or ban people from the Channel and designate the next Operator of that Channel when they leave | |
| Speaker – Can be heard by everyone in a Moderated Channel | |
| Squelched – Chat ability is being squelched and affected user cannot be heard | |
| Disconnected - An account with “The plug” icon will be unable to play games on Battle.net, check here for more information. |

| Battle.net Chat Participant – Logged on through a chat client and is unable to start or play games | |
| Game Fixx Player – This player participated in the Gamefixx/CompUSA Tournament for Warcraft III in 2002. |
